Grief and Healing

Part of Your World Changed Without Asking You

Grief changes part of your world in a way you never expected.

Some of what you feel makes sense to you: sadness, loneliness.

Other feelings catch you off guard: anger, guilt, confusion, even numbness.

All of them are part of grief.

You Get Through a Day, Then the Loss Rushes Back

Some days, you handle it.

Then a morning comes when the loss rushes back like it just happened.

You wish things could go back to the way they were.

And it feels like no one truly understands what you’re carrying.

Should You Be Further Along by Now?

You’re trying to make sense of what happened while you figure out what comes next.

Your mind asks, “Why is this happening?”

Then it asks, “How am I supposed to move forward without them?”

Underneath both, you’ve started judging yourself for how you’re grieving.

Drop the Deadline You’ve Set for Your Grief

Grief doesn’t follow a predictable timeline.

Nobody gets to say where you should be by now, including you.

When you understand your thoughts, emotions, and reactions, your grief starts to make sense.

There’s no wrong speed for this.

Resolve What You Can, and Stop Fighting What You Can’t

In our work, we’ll resolve what we can resolve.

The loss itself can’t be undone.

Fighting that fact every day wears you down, on top of the grief itself.

That’s where a skill called radical acceptance comes in.

Accept What Happened Without Calling It Okay

Radical acceptance means you stop arguing with what already happened.

Your energy goes back to what you can still change.

Accepting the loss doesn’t mean it was fair, or that you’re done missing them.

Give Each Part of Your Grief Its Turn

The work has three phases.

None of them runs on a clock.

Phase One, Grief: Understand What Hurts

First, we’ll recognize the emotions, experiences, and losses you’ve been living with.

Each one gets room, including the ones that don’t make sense yet.

Phase Two, Loss: Process and Reconnect

Next, we’ll process the pain that hasn’t settled.

That includes attachment wounds, unmet needs, and patterns from your past that this loss has stirred up.

You’ll also start reconnecting with yourself and with the people in your life.

Phase Three, Healing: Rebuild and Move Forward

Last, you’ll rebuild trust in yourself and a sense of emotional security.

Confidence and healthier relationships grow from there.

And you’ll shape a path forward that’s yours.

Let Your Life Continue With the Loss in It

Healing doesn’t mean forgetting or leaving your loss behind.

It means learning to carry the loss while your life keeps going.

You’ll find meaningful ways to honor what, and who, you’ve lost.

On the mornings the loss still rushes back, you’ll have healthy ways to cope.
