About Therapy With Me

Plan on Graduating From Therapy With Me

From our very first session, everything we do points toward one goal: your graduation.

Graduating means you’ve learned what you came here to learn, and you’re ready to use it in your own life.

I’m direct with you, and I keep us focused on the change you came for.

That focus starts with getting to know you well.

Expect Me to Remember What You Tell Me

Before I suggest anything, I want to understand your world.

I listen closely, and I remember what you tell me, even weeks later. When something you said a month ago connects to what you’re telling me today, I’ll show you the link.

Those connections are often where the answers are.

Being known that well makes the hard questions easier to hear.

You’ll Know When It’s Time to Leave the Nest

I’ll ask hard questions, and I’ll stay with them, because I truly care where you end up.

That push is how you discover your own capabilities.

When there’s nothing left for me to teach you, leaving the nest still feels hard. That’s when I’ll tell you: you’re ready to graduate.

About Nima Karimi

There was a time in my own life when I felt unfulfilled, struggled with feeling like a failure, and wasn’t sure how to move forward. That experience helps me empathize with the challenges people can face, and it taught me the importance of having a space where you feel supported and understood.

We figure things out together. Your experiences are unique, and we’ll build on your strengths, helping you find practical ways forward, whether you’re working through personal challenges or difficulties in a relationship. My goal is that by the time you graduate from therapy, you feel more confident in yourself, more aware of your strengths, and ready to face life’s challenges with a greater sense of personal power.

I’m licensed to practice in the state of Missouri, and I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Psychological Science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. My training has focused on psychoanalytic and attachment theories, and I take a depth-oriented approach to therapy, looking at the deeper experiences that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my wife, whether we’re working out, watching movies, studying, reading, or just enjoying time together.
